You have seduced
waywards into your trap,
like a spider
catching flies in it’s web.
You did lie in
wait for noises to wrap
us in chaos, to
tempt us to your bed.
And there we
have sat, in your cold silence,
staring into
blank walls for secret codes
we know are
buried there. We sad clients
of your endless
service, suffering bold
voices that have
told us to do things. Bad things!
Anythings that
will break the monotony:
some shouts,
some screams, annoying cell phone rings!
Break down the
walls, fight off insanity!
Brace yourself for this dread
impending doom
Of a quiet (a so very quiet) room.
